Information on Insworld Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance:-
Insurance Provider: American International Assurance Company Ltd
Type of Coverage: Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance
Cost: S$21.40 per month (inclusive prevailing GST)

International students holding passes other than the ICA-issued Student Pass, and students who are Singapore citizens or permanent residents, who are already covered by their medical insurance plans, may choose to opt out of the medical insurance scheme. 

In order to opt out of the medical insurance coverage, students have to provide Insworld with a copy of their medical insurance policy/certificate which meets the following EduTrust stipulated requirements:

1. Daily Room & Board (B2 ward stay in government and restructured hospitals)
2. Hospital Miscellaneous Services
3. Surgeon’s Fee & Anesthetist’s Fee

• Pre-hospitalisation Specialist Consultantation/Diagnostic Services/Treatment

1. Emergency Outpatient Treatment
2. Ambulance Fee
3. Medical Report Fees
4. Hospital Confinement due to mental illness
5. Death Benefit
